Rayzor Is Back

Former Sens goalie Ray Emery was it it again in Russia. I don't really know what to think about the video. On the surface, it appears to be just another bad character move by the ex Sen but there has been different accounts of what happened. Either way, he shouldn't have done it but reportedly he was just pulled from the game and was in a notoriously racist area of Russia and some racist remarks were made by fans. So then the trainer wanted him to put the hat on to hide his skin colour apparently and voila, Ray lost it.

I'm still a Razor fan. I don't think he did this for no reason. I'm sure he was pissed off and overreacted when pushed.

If those reports you've cited are true, then I say Emery's reaction was pretty well justified.

He's been said to have anger problems, sure, but pride and confidence aren't negative attributes for someone to have--and Emery's got both of those in spades.

That is the most ridiculous theory I have ever heard. That doesn't even make sense. Hide his skin color?

He just got pulled and was mad because he didn't want to wear the stupid hat.

"In spades"? Was that intentional?

Seeing the incident happened in Russia, It's probably wishful thinking that we'll get the real story unless it comes from Ray himself.

I'm gonna give Ray the benefit of the doubt on this one. Hopefully more light will get shed on this.

I'm not inclined to believe he pushed the guy in face because he tried to put a hat on his head...I think there's gotta be more to it - possibly as Steve as heard.

Here's the real story from the Citizen, according to Ray Emery's agent, J.P. Barry: http://www.faceoff.com/hockey/teams/story.html?id=1229339&add_feed_url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.faceoff.com%2Fscripts%2FSP6Atom.aspx%3Fid%3D824725
