The real thing that pissed me off, was in the end, he got to go to exactly where he wanted to. He screwed over a franchise (we got 70 cents on the dollar back) and got precisely what he demaded since he asked to be traded, a trip to San Jose.
Since the trade, Bryan Murray has said multiple times that he had to trade him after meeting him with him last week. He could see in his eyes it would be a problem, which meant Dany would have screwed our team oever even more. He has also said that the San Jose deal was the only one available. But wait, didn't Dany say it was about options, nothing against Edmonton.
Oh wait, that was just another lie in the summer of lies, from a liar. I'm sure we will never know the real reason why he wanted out but I'm sure it was something he did, since we have seen his true character now and it isn't pretty.
It's fitting he is now a San Jose Shark, a team that on the surface, always seems to be elite, but in the end, is mediocore and a perennial loser. Just like Dany.
