GDP: Sens V Bruins

Welcome to pre-season game number 6. It's the last tune up before the real season starts next week at MSG. For once, there are actually a lot of battles going for jobs with the Sens. It will be interesting to see what happens. Everyone seems to want to let the young kids play. I guess it's a case of what have you done for me lately and the answer appears to be not enough. Vets like Chris Kelly, Shean Donovan, Christoph Schubert and Alexandre Picard, are all on the edge of being replaced by a younger player. Tonight will show us if they have the heart, desire and talent to deserve their spot back. Interesting to see how Carkner, Regin and Karlsson play. Can they elevate their game under pressure?

Pascal Leclaire plays a full 60 tonight and looks to be the stable force in nets we need. Game is on TSN2. Enjoy it boys, for some of you, it will be your last game in a Sens jersey.

Update @3pm- Got some news on the lines for tonight. Spezza will centre Michalek and Alfie, while Regin will centre Kovalev and Fisher. On the defensive side it will be Phillips-Kuba, Karkner-Campoli and Lee-Karlsson. Interesting to note that Brian lee will be playing on the leftside for the first time in his career, while Alexandre Picard is a healthy scracth. Make of that what you will. Kuba is out with a lower body injury but is expected back in time for the opener next week. Murray continues to try and make a few deals to move out some bodies, but so far it's a no go.
