Sens 2009 1st round pick Jared Cowen was a steal at #9. By all accounts he might have gone as high as 3 had he not been injured. Everyone else's loss is our gain. The 6ft5 d-man is looking like our next Zdeno Chara, though I would say he is way more talented at this point then Chara was at the same age. Here is just another reason I can't wait for him to be on our squad in the next few years. The kid is nice with the skates, the stick and the fists.
