GDP #10: Sens V Florida

The Sens are in the Sunshine state, looking to erase the memory of our last 2 games and earn the 2 points. This is a must win, esepcially against a team with a 2-6-1 record this season. Considering our last 2 perforamnces, I would hope they come out flying, eager to prove they are for real.

Of course there are a lot of personel changes in the team for this game. Of course as everyone knows, Erik Karlsson was sent to Bingo and Filip Kuba will make his overdue return in the lineup, which should make a massive difference for us. In other surprising, yet happy news to me at least, Ryan Shannon will be the healthy scratch, meaning Shean Donovan will get the call again. Dono has been very effective when he's played this year in my opnion, plus he's just a really likeable guy. He's a very easy person to root for and I'm glad Triple C is recognizing his effort this season with more chances to play.

Pascal Leclaire will return to lineup, after taking Saturday's game off with the flu. I always feel better with him back there, he's been a rock so far. I couldn't be happier with the way things have worked out with him so far.

The chase is on to see who will score first between Cheechoo and Spezza. If either one or both of them got it going, it would really help the team out and make us a much more deadly team to deal with. I think it's a matter of time before Spezza pots one at least, but still it is a bit worriesome.

This is a team we definitely should beat and I would be shocked if he don't come out and dominate the lowly Panthers.

Prediction is a Sens 5-1 win and Spezza gets his first goal of the season. The game is @7:30pm on TSN2 and Team 1200

Not that I do not think Ottawa will win tonight, they have a great record against terrible teams, but will you ever predict a loss? Maybe you should call it an optimistic prediction or something. Also, how did "analysts" predict Florida to make the playoffs this year. They were not a playoff team last year with Bouwmeester, Anderson, and Jokinen. I guess that was the same school of thought that predicted Toronto would be good.

Looks like the flu has still got Leclaire, hopefully he does not spread it to the rest of the team.

It appears as though Bryan Mckabe still enjoys putting the puck in his own net.

That was a good game for the Sens considering that the PPs were 7-1 for the Panthers. Also, the commentary from Florida put me to sleep.

To the 1st poster, I have predicted almost all wins this because our schedule has been pretty easy so far, if we have a tough game, i will call it for the other team, dont worry.

And yes that was a boring ass game from the FS commentators, brutal
