The Sens hit the ice tonight at SBP, following a 4 day layoff since their big win in Montreal, as they take on the Nashville Predators at 7:30pm.
Filip Kuba remains hurt and will not play, while Peter Regin returns to the lineup tonight, after missing multiple games. To free up a spot, Shean Donovan will be a healthy scratch (I would have chosen Shannon), while Jesse Winchester still remains awhile away. (Does he even matter anyways?)
There was some concern coming into tonight's contest that Jason Spezza might miss the game, but that won't be the case. He will be suiting up, still looking for his 1st goal of the season. Pascal Leclaire will get the start tonight, coming off an excellent game in MTL and a great season in general so far.
On the Nashville side of things, they are only 2-5-1 this season and if we hope to make the playoffs, these are the type of games you need to get 2 points from. When it comes to the Preds, the players to watch for are Jason Arnott, Shea Weber, Ryan Suter, JP Dumont, Steve Sullivan, Martin Erat and Pekka Rinne.
The Predators do have some decent players, so we shouldn't be taking them lightly at all, especially after a few days off. I'm sure Triple C will have kept the boys motivated.
Prediction is Sens win 4-1
Game is on Sportsnet East and Team 1200 starting at 7:30pm
