Humbled

Well that was a stinker. Maybe they were too full of turkey to move? Yaaaaaaaa I'm gonna go with that one for an excuse. What an awful game. Can we pretend it never happened? In a game where the Sens needed to prove they were for real, they came out with no heart. Very disappointed in the team.

Despite the scoreline, I continue to be impressed with Pascal Leclaire's play. It seems we've found our franchise goalie finally. Our defence on the other hand is awful, but I guess that's what happens when your bottom 4 are all fringe NHL player's. How soon til Kuba comes back again?

Only real brightside was new addition Milan Michalek, who notched his first goal for the Sens. He was a threat all night. I'm sure triple C was not impressed with the team either and will be skating them hard at practice tomorrow.

You live and you learn. Today we were taught a lesson by the champs.

I don't know if I agree. I thought they played pretty good, and the score was a lot closer (two unlucky bounces).

Your ideal franchise goalie lets in 4 goals a game? Wow, not mine.

I guess you clearly didn't watch the game then

ya, as you said...other than that one slapshot Leclaire played very well.

I think the second goal was a bad goal as well, rebound right back into the slot. So far I am not convinced about Leclaire. Also, the Sens had lots of good shifts but it seemed as though they were never able to have even two back to back.

Sorry, I was thinking of the second bad goal, I meant the last goal.
