Sens Win In OT!!!

The Sens made it 2 in a row, with an overtime win over Long Island tonight. The 1st two periods were somewhat boring but things picked up in the 3rd, and the team and crowded responded, each putting in a solid performance. Goals came from Regin, Carkner and Fisher in OT (finally).

By the way, did anyone else notice that we didn't get our 1st powerplay until there was 10 minutes left in the game? Gimme a break. That's ridiculous. Talk about putting your whistle away. Vintage Kerry Fraser right there.

Sorry for the quick PGW (that's post game wrap-up for you noobs) but I'm off to the bar to celebrate with a few adult beverages. But for some highlights click here

Special shoutouts go to Jarkko Ruutu for playing in his 500th game, Matt Carkner for his 1st career NHL goal and Pascal Leclaire for that outstanding save on John Tavares (welcome to the show kiddo). The only downside is Leclaire might have to serve 10 years for robbery.

Sens are now 2-1-0, good for 4 points through 3 games. Enjoy the win Sens Army, I know I will. What did you think of tonight's performance? Who stood out to you? I will respond to comments later on tonight, hopefully not too drunk with celebratory beers. I'm out.
