According to a report from Syracuse, it's almost official that the Syrcause Crunch will play the Binghamton Senators in the AHL's first ever outdoor game. The proposed game will take place February 20th, 2010 at the NY state fairgrounds, which would be during the Olympic break. The tickets will be $50 for premium seats and then $30 and $25 for regular seats, plus $20 for standing room only tickets. No word yet on what capacity would be, but they say they hope to break the AHL's all time attendance record for a single game, which currently sits at 20,672.
All in all I think it seems like fair prices for such a cool event. Glad to see the Baby Sens will be involved. Hopefully Sens Army will have a strong presence at the game and I can definitely see myself heading down to see it in person, since it's only a 3 hour drive and a once in a lifetime experience.
Your thoughts?
