The Sens and Sabres renew their rivalry tonight for the first time this season at SBP, in a divisional affair. The Sens are fresh off a 6-2 win over Pittsburgh and a 2 game win streak overall, while Buffalo is going the opposite way, with a 2 game losing streak of their own. Working in the Sens favor is the fact that the Sbares played and lost last night and had to travel here to play back to back. The Sens on the other hand should be eager and rested. The Sabres have been off to a very hot, surprising start, leading the division, thanks in large part to the spectacular play of Ryan Miller in goal. He has been fantasic this season, although he is only 7-10-1 career vs the Sens. Of course, you must also key on Thomas Vanek, Tim Connely, Derek Roy and Jason Pomminville when playing Buffalo. Also be on the lookout for Tyler Myers, you will remember him from the World Jr's here last year.
On the Sens side of things, there are a couple of changes. With Kovalev in Russia and Donovan out indefinitely after that cheap shot in the last few minutes of the Pens game, Ryan Shannon and Peter Regin both draw in to the lineup tonight. It's a shame, I thought we were playing very well with Kovie and Dono lately. Pascal Lecalire is expected to start in goal.
Prediction: We're missing Kovie and Dono, which could be a bigger problem then we think, but Buffalo did travel last night and have been slipping lately. If the Michalek-Spezza-Alfie line can get it going tonight, I see a big night ahead for us. In the end, I think we pull of a tough, gutsy 4-3 win, to make it 3 in a row.

The Sens have trouble with speed, and I think are likely to be outworked by the sabres, I say we lose 4-2.
If Kuba does not know how to take a one-timer he should not be out on a 5 on 3.
Great game by Kuba, I guess according to the referees an Ottawa player shooting a glove is equivalent to someone else crosschecking said Ottawa player and elbowing him in the face. I mean the Sens need to keep their sticks on the ice but they still get shafted game after game.
Maybe Neil felt he was not getting enough PIMs and no one on the Sabres would fight him so he just settled for four.
Starting to gain confidence in the Sens, now all they need to do is to replace Picard with a decent NHL defenseman, and STOP TAKING PENALTIES WITH THE GAME ON THE LINE.
