Finally!!!!!!!Well I can now check one thing off my Sens to do list. For those of you who read me regularly, you know I've been politely mentioning, and then insisting, and then kinda calling out Ms Carrie Underwood to wear a Sens jersey for awhile now, since she is dating Mike Fisher.
I thought it would be an easy and great way for her to endear herself to the Sens Army, while showing support to the boyfriend as well. We all know she has been spotted at SBP numerous times, but no jersey.
Well everytime I wrote that she should throw a jersey on, the Carrie Underwood fan base would swoop in and send me tons of emails and comments. I had no idea her fans were so loyal and concerned with what little old me had to say about her, but they do. It's a little known fact that if you ever write her name in cyber space that they will find you and track you down.
Well now that day has finally come, as Carrie decided to finally take my advice and rock the jersey to the game yesterday afternoon. Of course, she wore a #12 Fisher jersey. Gotta say she looked pretty good in it too. I have to admit I have a thing for girls in jerseys and with finally doing it, she's gone up in my books a lot. I even find her more attractive today for some reason.
I will give credit where credit is due and today Carrie Underwood, you will get what you deserve, and that is a special Sens Town shoutout for joining Sens Army officially (I usually reserve shoutouts only for my favorite players or a major accomplishment so this is an honor).
So once again, thank you Carrie for wearing the jersey, it looks great on you and I hope to see you around SBP for a very long time. Next up is an interview with Carrie so we can discuss hockey together. Maybe I can even teach her a thing or two. Let's make it happen.
