The Senators will have to survive without their number one goaltender for a month, after Pascal Leclaire was hit in the face with a puck in last night's game, while serving as backup on the bench. If this guy didn't have bad luck, he wouldn't have any wow! This is one of the weirder stories I can remember.Lecalire suffered a fractured cheekbone on the bizarre play and will now need to udergo surgery to repair it if you can believe it. He is expected to be out 4 weeks and should return around christmas sometime. Poor guy, poor us. Best of luck in your recovery Snoopy from the Mayor.

Maybe the coach should have a rule about texting on the bench, had Leclaire been paying attention maybe he could of used his blocker or something.
i think thats kinda unfair, what are the odds of it hitting him like that? just really unlucky for the guy
Here is an idea for LeClaire. Where your helmet from now on when you have the night off.
Maybe "Anonymous" you stop trolling around Sens blogs telling people Leclaire was texting when (unless you're a reh-tard) you can see in the video he has his blocker AND trapper on.

This is unfortunate as he was showing signs of turning his game around. However, I am not that concerned because I think the Elliot is alright and the players seem to have lots of confidence in him.

I can't understand why it would be 4 weeks. I mean it's a friggin' cheek bone, for crying out loud. Put your mask on and get in there. On the bright side, we can now see that the Senators organization has no depth in goal. After #1 and #2 there is nothing.
