Ok so I know it's a minor, petty victory but at this point, I'll take it. Ya we lost. Ya we got severly outplayed. Ya he had 2 meaningless assists but at least he didn't score. Thanks to all of you who stayed up to watch with me and participated in the chat. It was fun, even if some of your questions were a bit weird (see Lady Gaga).Thoughts I had from the game:
-Michalek makes me happy. My man crush is getting big.
-Is it possible for Spezza to ever win a puck against the boards? Doesn't seem like it.
-Elliott played well but also let in some softies when we didn't need it.
-Cheechoo seem motivated tonight.
-Why is Karlsson better then Lee again? Can Murray get a mulligan.
-Good to see A-Train back, even if he looked rusty.
-The west coast doesn't seem to agree with us.
-Man the Sharks are good.
-God I hate Heatley.
So that's about it for the big game against Dany Heatley. I still wished someone had of hit him hard but oh well. On to the next game. With a few more breaks, we might have had this one, we had our chances but didn't bury them. That's what good teams do, they take their chances and they score and we didn't. That's why the Sharks are the best team in the NHL.
Thoughts?

I did not think Karlsson was that bad last night, he made some mistakes but so did every other D... Carkner does not have to pinch evry time he is on the ice.
It was nice to see Spezza actually throw some hits... the reason why he always loses puck battles is because he comes in on the back side and does use his body.
I think Foligno tries to split the D too much considering he is not very fast. Actually I think team speed is a weakness for the Sens.
Its not that Karlsson is SOOOOO much worse, it's that he isnt any better then Lee at this moment in time and it cost us a year of cheap salary and disrupted a team that was winning for no real reason.
Spezza threw a hit? when ;)
Ya i love nicky too, god he has heart and tries hard but the kid just isnt quick at all
I think Foligno should work on coming off the wall and shooting. He does not have the speed to beat guys 1-on-1 or 1-on-2 but he has a pretty good shot, he is strong on the puck and he can cycle the puck. I think if he took the puck to the net more off the cycle he would do better. In other words I think he can still be a top 6 player, he just needs to find his niche.
His biggest asset is his willingness to work hard and learn
