I knew there was something off about our uni's this season but I couldn't place it and it was driving me nuts. Then it hit me, our socks look different. Didn't they used to be striped differently and be on an angle I thought? So I took to my picture archive of past games and sure enough, there it was (click on the above picture to enlarge). Last season we had socks that featured one black and one white stripe, on a sharp angle. This season, it's one big white stripe with two black stripes, one on each side.I don't remember them ever announcing the change, does anyone have any more info on why the change and why it went unnoticed seeminly for so long? You can't fool me, the Mayor spots all.
Which do you like better? Thoughts?
