After what could be called a brutal west coast road trip, the Sens return to the friendly confines of SBP tonight, to take on the hated Montreal Canadiens. By the way, am I the only one who can't wait for this year to end so I don't have to hear any more about their 100th anniversary? Although I do appreciate how truly miserable a centennial it has been, which makes me smile a little. Ok a lot, but back to tonight's affair. The Sens are looking for back to back wins and to get back on track after only getting 3 of a possible 10 points on the road. We always play hard and get up to play the Habs, so I'm not so worried about effort level tonight, even if they are running on fumes at the moment. There are no changes to the lineup from the Anaheim game, meaning Brian Elliott gets the start. Chris Neil, Donovan and Picard are all still out. Will Erik Karlsson ever score? That's why we put up with him, because of his alleged scoring talent.
Jaroslav Halak gets the start for the Habs tonight. Should be a good atmosphere at SBP tonight. Game is at 7:30pm
Prediction: The Sens are tired but they do like to get up for these games. Look for Spezza and Kovalev to have big games. I see the Sens winning 4-1
Thoughts?

I dunno about that predictions I'm hoping Brian Elliot shows Ottawa he is our future starter and puts up a shutout( 4 already this week, only counting monday)! The other half of your prediction I' m ok with but >4 would be awesome I'm not that picky.
Are the Sens playing in Montreal tonight? Really though, how long before the Sens have a large enough fan base to actually have home crowds against the Leafs and Habs?
Ouch, 0fer on the powerplay... no finish. Kovie should definitely be on the 1st powerplay. The Sens must be nearing the record for too many men calls, whatever that might be. Normally, teams get called for that maybe once every few weeks, not every 2nd game.
Maybe it is better that the Sens don't get powerplays.
