Welcome to another instalment of the Battle of Ontario, that all of a sudden has some genuine interest again. The first game this year between the two clubs was, um boring and that's being kind, and it had many, myself included, wondering if the battle was over? Almost on cue, the 2nd meeting last month was a thrilling game that remind us of why we enjoy these games so much. Now comes the rubber match, will it live up to the hype or be another disappointment? Only time will tell. Both teams are coming off wins on Saturday, the Sens 4-2 over Carolina and the leafs with a crazy comeback of a win against the league leading Washington Capitals. As much as we love to dog them, the Leafs have been playing a lot better and are 7-3 in their last 10, only 4 points out of a playoff spot at this point. The Sens are also on a semi roll, with 2 wins in a row and 3 of 4 ending with the W. Both teams could use the win and this promises to be an entertaining game at the ACC.
For the Sens, there will be no changes from Saturday's lineup, which means Chris Campoli sits again. Brian Elliott will make his 13th consecutive start tonight, as they are riding him hard until Snoopy comes back in a week or so. Vesa Toskala is expected to start in net for the Leafs. If you're interested, Kovalev will appear on TSN's Off The Record tonight at 6pm.
Prediction: This will be a hard fought, entertaining game, as the battle seems to be renewed, at least for now. The Leafs are finally playing well but always seem to have trouble with the Sens in the regular season and the Sens have won both meetings this year. Look for the Sens to win 4-1 in a tough game. And guess what, Erik Karlsson scores his 1st NHL goal tonight.
Thoughts on the matchup?

Really hoping your right about Karlsson he played great on the PP on Saturday so it's believable, and a goal against the laughs is like two goals to a Sens fan. And obviously your score prediction is right on the win but I'm thinking it could be higher scoring(for Ottawa) and hopefully lower scoring for the laughs!
