GDP #33: Sens V Buffalo

The rivalry is renewed tonight, as the Senators take on the Buffalo Sabres, with an important 2 points on the line at SBP.

Things are not looking so good for the Sens tonight, as they will be without Jason Spezza and Nick Foligno, plus Chris Neil and Pascal Leclaire are not ready to return yet. Josh Hennessy has been called up to take Spezza's spot and Chris Campoli will take Foligno's. Yes Chris Campoli will be playing forward tonight, brace yourselves. It might be a long night/

Brian Elliott gets the start for the Sens, his 14th consectuive.

Predcition: The Sabres are good and Ryan Miller is really, really good. Plus we are missing too many key players. The only saving grace is that sometimes when you have important people out, the other guys work harder and put in a big effort to sneak out a win. I could see this being pretty ugly however. Sabres win 5-1.

Thoughts?

I would say more like 3-1 than 5-1. The Sabres don't exactly light it up and the Sens are probably going into turtle mode from the puck drop because of their injuries.
