GDP #36: Sens V Boston

As the Sens get back to it tonight, there is one main question on the minds of Sens fans. What did the ring look like that Fisher gave to Carrie? Just kidding. The big question is will we ever be able to beat Tim Thomas and Boston again? The Bruins have won 9 of the last 10 against us and Tim Thomas has won his last 9 starts against the Sens, with an awesome 1.63 GAA. The odds are not in our favor, especially with our depleted lineup.

No changes for the Sens tonight, except in goal, where Brian Elliott returns, after Mike Brodeur's suprise performance on Saturday against Minnesota. This is big divisional matchup, with a big 2 points on the line. The Sens are 8-1-0 in their past 9 home games, yet the fans are still staying away. Let's hope that tonight we have a sellout and the crowd is into it, we could use it. One would assume that Mrs Fisher will be in the building with an new piece of jewelry.

Prediction: For whatever reason, the Bruins own us, like really own us, but can it continue forever? I say no. Plus the Sens are very, very good at home. Sens end their horrific streak against the B's and win going away 4-2.

Thoughts?
