Head Scratcher

Is it possible that Cory Clouston or Bryan Murray was hit in the head with a puck recently and we didn't know it? I certainly hope so, as it might start to explain the bizzare move he has made for tonight's big game against the Sabres.

You would think with the loss of Jason Spezza for 8 weeks, that he would want every available forward body we have but nope. As our bad luck continues, Nick Foligno will also be out tonight, with what is being described as a minor injury. Instead of calling up someone from Bingo, say Cody Bass, who has NHL experience, they have decided to go with Chris Campoli at forward. But wait a second there Mayor, have you forgot Foligno plays forward and Campoli is a defenceman, maybe it's you who was hit in the head with a puck you might be thinking. If this keeps up I might hope for that. Nope, BM or Triple C have decided for some insane reason to play Chris Campoli as a FORWARD.

So for all of you scoring at home, we are minus #1 centre Jason Spezza and top 6 forward Nick Foligno, but plus underachiever and career AHL'er Josh Hennessy and mediocore defenceman turned forward Chris Campoli. (can he even play forward?)

This is either genius or insane. I'm going to go with the latter. This can't be a good sign for us that an unproven, at best average player on a good day, who will be playing out of position and can't crack the lineup at his natural position on a backend that is hardly HOF level, will suddenly excel at a different position at the NHL level.

I just don't get this move at all, I can't be the only one.
