The dream is dead for Mike Fisher, at least for now. The Canadian Olympic roster was revealed earlier today and #12 wasn't on the list. To Fisher's credit, it was amazing he was in the discussion at all, thanks to his great season so far. All is not lost however, if there is an injury to Mike Richards or Brendan Morrow before the games start, look for Fisher to take their place n the squad. Shoutout to Fisher anyways on a great 1st half of the year so far.Thoughts?

Too bad Mike! I was really hoping you'd be going to Vancouver this year. Just sit back and enjoy the time off you'll get for the Olympic break and recharge your guns and come out firing for the playoff run. Ottawa needs you now more than ever Mike now that top players are injured,,but when they come back sometimes after the break all rested up, I think you guys will do well in the playoffs this year.
