Olympic Hockey Begins Today

Wait no more, as the most anticipated tournament in years begins today in Vancouver. I know I'm excited and plan to watch practically every game I can. There's a triple header to get everyone started today.

It kicks off with the United States vs Switzerland in group A action at 3pm eastern, then the big one of Canada vs Norway at 7:30pm and then Russia vs Latvia at Midnight.

The last game features 2 Sens players with Anton Volchenkov playing for Russia and Kaspars Dauvagins for Latvia.

Great day of hockey ahead. Come back and comment all day, as we all watch the games together.

I'm calling the US winning a tough one 4-3, Canada winning 7-2 and Russia winning 7-1.

Thoughts?

So Mr. Mayor, what do you think of Canada's goal song? I am sure you can accept it if the fans in Vancouver can rain hats down onto the ice for Jerome Iginla.
