Olympic Hockey Wrap Up Day II

Day 2 is in the books, with no real surprises, though the Czech-Slovakia game was a fairly hard fought one. It allowed me to run my record to 6-0 so far, with one exact score predicted, plus calling Ruutu with a goal in the same game. All in all not too shabby.

Thoughts from the games:

-Awesome to see Forsberg back, he was always one of my all time favorites, hopefully he makes it back to the NHL for the playoffs, especially in a Sens uniform. #21 is free, just sayin...

-Also good to see Jagr back and playing so well, all world talent still

-Kuba still sucks, first goal was his fault for being lazy

-Weird seeing Alfie on the 3rd line, even if it is with Erickson and Backstrom

-Loved seeing Ruutu score on a beauty tip AND having the presence to go collect the puck as a souvenir. Vintage Ruutu.

-The crowds continue to be awesome, wish I was there.

-Michalek was fairly invisible

-I'm still trying to get used to different numbers for certain players

-Awesome seeing Plekanec score on teammate Halak

Thoughts on day 2?
