Deadline Day Wrap Up

I think the picture about sums it up. Very little happend despite a record number of trades.

It was boring.

Ottawa did nothing....as usual.

I like it. We essentially gave up nothing for the players we got... we don't have Picard or Cheechoo playing for us anymore. The Sens have are thin on prospects so why give them up to try to make a run. Truthfully, even if the Sens added players, they were not going to beat the top teams on talent. They still have too many question marks to risk a big move.

Cullen if crap and went a -3 in his first game as a Sen -> why do you think carolina wanted to get rid of this guy?

Sutton is big and slooooow.

Good news is that Murray couldnt hit the broad side of a barn with his drafting, so in essence we didnt give anything up bc he couldn't pick wayne grtsky in a whore house full of women on draft day.

I will reserve judgement til i see more of Cullen and any of Sutton but i think it only improved us slightly.

It will come down to how our goaltending plays, as always

i think he was trying to make some sort of reference to how easy it is to "pick up" in a brothel....looks like he got a bit confused though.
