The Senators finished up their offseason this afternoon, re-signing RFA Chris Campoli, to a 1 year deal. The new contract means the Sens and Campoli will avoid their scheduled arbitration hearing that was set for August 4th.The one year deal is worth 1.4 million, quite a raise from his 675k from last season, though still a fair deal in my opinion. With the signing, the Sens have a full lineup ready to go for next season. I'm gonna make a prediction and say Campy has a nice season.

UPDATE: After listening to the Campoli interview on the Team 1200, we learned he had offseason hernia surgery and is recovering now and will be ready for training camp. It seems a bit odd to me that no one knew that and it wasn't ever reported, but at least he will be ready for camp.
