Former NHL goalie Rick Wamsley, has been hired today by the Ottawa Senators as their new goaltending coach. He must be desperate for work, as being our goaltending coach has to be one of the worst gigs in the league, just kidding, sort of.Let's hope for all our sakes that he can turn it around, since it has always been our one true weakness in our 17 seasons so far. Wamsley was Leclaire's goalie coach in Columbus, so perhaps he will help him re-capture his form from his time as a Blue Jacket.
Thoughts on the hire?

Im very encouraged by this - look who he turned out: Leclaire was fabulous in Columbous and wansley also developed Mason in Columbous.
This could be very good for us & our goalie development program.
Ya i agree, seems to be a pretty decent hire.
Hopefully Snoopy can regain his form.
If we ever had a good solid goalie, it would make a huge difference.
Could be the difference between us being a pretender or a contender
love the choice of photo :)
Thanks, seemed appropriate ;)
