This is one for all the old schoolers on here, who might remember one Chad Penney, who was the 25th overall pick in our innauguaral 1992 draft. At one point, he was a blue chipper, right up there with Yashin and Daigle, expected to roam the left wing for years to come.I imagine most of you are wondering who he even is, so obviously he never fufilled that potential, only managing to crack the lineup for 3 career games, all in 1993-94, which if you recall, went a pathetic 14-61-9.
But hey, anytime you can drop a few stacks on a guy with 3 career games, you gotta do it. Ironically, I'm sure you can now find this jersey at a thrift store for the ironic price of a penney.

Weird, I thought they retired #8 before we even played a game in honour of Frank Finnigan.
