GDP 10: Sens V Panthers

The Sens are back at it tonight, trying to get consecutive wins for the first time this season, as they take on the Florida Panthers tonight at 7pm at SBP. The Senators are looking to build off an impressive performance in the 5-2 Tuesday win against Phoenix, while Florida is trying to recover from a 3-1 defeat to Toronto, in which the winning goal should not have counted.

For the Sens, the lineup will remain the same, which means no Spezza yet again, and Brian Lee as a healthy scratch. Look for Brian Elliott to start for the Sens, and Tomas Vokoun, who sat the last game to be in between the pipes tonight.

Prediction: Sens need to get back in the thick of things and build on the decent performance on Tuesday. If they play that way, they will certainly get the W again, but we all know being consistent isn't our forte. Luckily for the us, the Panthers are one of the worst teams in the NHL, though they do have an elite goalie, which can cause problems from time to time. Sens show up and win this one 4-1 and get back on track.

Thoughts?

As long as Karlsson continues to try his best, we should be fine. Im predicting 3-2 win. Our defence has been a ballsak lately.
