A Loss With A Capital L

Unfortunately, I did not get to see this game, as I was busy with Ms Mayor and her family eating Thanksgiving dinner. From what I've been told, we looked much better tonight, which is good news, even in the loss. I also heard Leclaire played well again, but was definitely at fault for the OT winner by Ovechkin. At least we got our first point of the season.

Anyone who saw the game wanna fill me in? Comments on the game?

our line of ruutu, kelly and neil again had a great game, leclaire played will and ovi's shot was stoppable but overall leclaire still had a great game. kovalev wasnt invisible for the first time this year taking hard shots when he had the ability and made a few good passes (hopefully well see that next game to or maybe well have to wait 10 games b4 he decides to effort into another game). Capitals goalie really stole the game in my opinion, he made great saves when needed and kept them in the game.

Shannon had a great game at both ends, Fisher looked pretty good, the top line had some very good shifts, Kovie actually tried and for some reason Alfie did not get a shift in OT.

Also the sens were a little unlucky in that they got lots of good chances and somehow the puck found it's way away from the net.
Overall a positive game and something to build on. In addition to an extra point !!

Kovalev made a no look drop pass early inthe third that went straight to the tape of Ovie. Luckily nothing resulted from it. Pascal looked good for the most part, the game winner was something that should have been stopped, he didnt look like he thought Ovie would shoot.

Need to see more out of the top 6.

The Sens deserved to win with the effort they put in, the amount of shots they had and the way the dicated the majority of the play.
