GDP #23: Sens @ Pittsburgh

The Sens are in Shittsburgh, for an afternoon affair at 1pm on black Friday in the US. They are hoping to rebound off a really poor performance against Dallas on Wednesday night, losing 2-1. This will be our 2nd meeting of the year, and also the 2nd trip to Consol Energy Center. Let's hope it goes a lot better than the beating they gave us earlier this season.

For the Sens, Pascal Leclaire gets his 3rd consecutive start, hoping to continue his decent play, and hoping to get his 2nd win of the year.

The Sens lines will look like:

-Regin-Spezza-Alfie -Phillips-Gonchar
-Michalek-Fisher-Kovalev -Kuba-Karlsson
-Foligno-Kelly-Neil -Hale-Campoli

So that means Matt Carkner will be a healthy scratch in order to make room for Karlsson's return. It also means somehow that Nick Foligno continues to get playing time. Time to put up or shut up in my opinion, though really it was that time 15 games ago.

Prediction: Sens don't tend to play the Pens very well in Pittsburgh and if we play like we did against Dallas this could get ugly. We just don't have the scoring ability to compete these days, especially against the likes of Crosby and Malkin. Sens lose 5-2.
