GDP #35: Battle Of The Capital Cities

The Sens return home to SBP tonight after earning 3 of a possible 4 points on the mini 2 game dad roadie, which is pretty decent, although we did let one slip away in Colorado. Tonight, we take on a very good, yet struggling team in the Washington Capitals and Alexander Ovechkin, with puck drop at 7:37pm.

The big/small news of the day is that Leclaire will be out for a little bit, so the Sens called up Mike Brodeur from the ECHL, because Robin Lehner will be on World Junior duty for Sweden after tonight. So we are stuck with Elliott for awhile. Let's hope he doesn't play like he did in Denver on Friday the rest of the way.

Other than that, no lineup changes for the Sens tonight.

Local Flavor: Matt Bradley is from Carp.

Prediction: Logic tells me that the Caps can't continue to struggle like they have forever. They have their shortcomings, but they are a good team. Sadly, other than getting the possible 2 points, I'm most excited to see if we figure in to the next episode of 24/7. Sens play well, but can't beat Ovie. Caps win 4-2.
