GDP #39: Sens @ Ohio State

First off, I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack. Did you all miss me? Well I didn't miss you either. I haven't seen the Sens play since I left because as one might imagine, the United States aren't exactly curious about what the Senators are up to. So I'm in the dark. All I know is we won 2 of 3 and played well against Pitts, bad against Carolina, and Spezza is out for awhile on a possibly dirty hit. So I'm going in dark ont his one, so forgive me. I hope everyone had a nice holiday last week and let's get back into it.

Tonight the Sens make a rare trip to the buckeye state, to take on the Columbus Blue Jackets in their final game of 2010, looking to end the year on a winning note. While I was away, it appears that Jim O'Brien was called up this AM and will suit up tonight. Let's hope he brinbgs something new to the table, we could use it. Brian Elliott starts.

Local Flavor: Former fan favorite Sen Antoine Vermette now plays for CBJ thanks to a trade that brought us Leclaire (shit!). Also on Columbus are Ottawa natives Derick Brassard and Marc Methot.

Prediction: I have no clue, I haven't seen us play in 10 days, but not having Spezza can't be good, especially for a team that has trouble scoring as is. But it's the last game of 2010 so screw it, Sens win 4-2.
