Sens Earn Comeback Win In Minny

Call it the Brian Lee effect, or call it lucky, but call us victorious, as the Sens earned a nice come from behind in Minnesota tonight, winning 3-1 after giving up their lone goal in the first 5mins of the game.

The turning point was a Minnesota goal that was called back, which at that point would have made it 2-1 in favor of the Wild. It turned out that they had too many men on the ice, which resulted in a Sens powerplay that we scored just 9 seconds into. That made it 2-1 Ottawa, instead of 2-1 Minny. After that, Chris Kelly scored an empty netter to make it 3-1 and seal the deal for the much needed W.

The whole team played pretty well, and Leclaire was solid in net, only surrending 1 goal, that was hardly his fault. Even though it will be an uphill battle to make the playoffs, 2 out of 4 points in our last 2 games in a nice start.

With the game winning goal, Nick Foligno wins the night.

Thoughts?

I think you mean 3 out of 4 points, in our last 2
