Yep, Pascal Leclaire is injured again. I know I know, I'm not surprised either. It appears that he may have tweaked his groin again during Thursday's game with Jersey. Leclaire didn't practice this morning with the rest of the team. The Sens are doing the expected and calling it a lower body injury. We might as well call a spade a spade, and call this the end up Leclaire as a starter in the NHL.
Despite him actually playing quite well this season so far, his constant injury problems will prevent teams from offering him starter money. Perhaps he will catch on as a backup next season and play himself back into a starter contract for the year after. Either way, Snoopy is back on the injured list for a bit.
In other news, water is still wet.
Thoughts on the injury?
