Rundblad Wins Best Defenceman In Sweden

Sens prospect David Rundblad in action in Sweden
Sens blue chip prospect David Rundblad was announced as the winner of the Salming Trophy today, which is given to the best defenceman in the Swedish Eite League. Think of it as their version of the Norris Trophy over here. That's a very nice accomplishment for the 20 year prospect, who is practically a shoe in to be playing in Ottawa next season. He finished up the season with 11 goals and 39 helpers in just 55 games, which is pretty impressive for a kid playing in a man's league as good as the SEL.

Congrats to David for the accomplishment and see you in September. I can't wait!

How is St. Louis feeling ?? Hopefully their risky trade works out for them as well.
