Sens Lose In Shootout, Gain A Point We Don't Want

The Sens dropped one this afternoon in extra time, exploding for 4 goals, but losing in a shootout to make the final 5-4 in favor of the Thrashers. Marek Svatos scored 2 finally for the Sens, who earned a point we didn't really want. We better be careful before we win ourself out of a top 3 pick.

With 2 goals Marek Svatos wins the afternoon.

Post game thoughts?

What's the franchise's record for least goals scored in a season? I just want to make sure we make it past that (eek). That is the only positive thing I can think of for this 4 goal game....

This says that Ottawa's fewest goals was 191, which was back in the '95-'96 season.

I think it says that we only have 175 goals this year...so we are on track for fewest goals..

We only need 16 more goals this year to tie one of the worst seasons in our history.
16 goals in the next 6 games.
Let's do it boys!
GO SENS GO!
