Sens Win Battle, Lose War

Well the Sens lost the battle on tank job 2011 by winning, ironic don't you think? All lame Alanis Morrisette references aside, the Senators did what I feared they might, a won tonight, beating a horribly boring Florida team 4-1 while almost being outshot 2-1. How does that happen? The same way not making the playoffs for a decade happens in Florida I suppose.

I was at this game live and I had fun, most memoraby finally meeting and chatting with the great Ian Mendes, solid guy. I was impressed. Anderson played well when he had to, Greening had 2 but shoulda had the hatty, and well that's it. It was a boring game in a long boring season. Unfortunately with the win we leap frogged the Panthers in the standings due to our win total.

With 2 goals Colin Greening wins the night. Expect a photo diary about this game in the next day or two, as well as a Jersey Foul tribute to Panther fans. Also notalble was that I predicted the exact score and outcome of the game tonight in the GDP, which only happens a few times a year, so um that's something I guess.

Thoughts on the win?
