GDP #81: Sens v Habs

Well here we are, the final home game of the 2010-11 regular season at Scotiabank Place. It will be the end of what has been a very long season to say the least. Tonight we take on the Montreal Canadiens, looking to end things on a high note I suppose, though I really just want the best draft pick possible with 2 games left.
No big lineup changes for tonight. Craig Anderson starts in net and the Habs counter with former one time Sen Alex Auld, which probably doesn't bode well for our tanking chances. Erik Karlsson isn't ready to return so our defence is looking pretty thin.

Here are the projected forward lines for tonight:
  • Greening-Spezza-Butler
  • Michalek-Shannon-Condra
  • Foligno-Smith-Neil
  • Winchester-Da Costa-Lessard
And the projected defensive pairings are:
  • Phillips-Lee
  • Kuba-Benoit
  • Smith-Hale

Prediction: If you look at our lineup on paper, we should be the worst team in the NHL, yet somehow we keep winning and runing our draft position (was there any doubt it would turn out this way?). The Habs are sitting Carey Price and we have Anderson playing, which isn't helping. I say the Sens win the final game at SBP this season and take it 4-2.

Pre game thoughts?
