Rundblad Named HF's 2011 Prospect Of The Year

Sens super prospect David Rundblad was named Hockey Future's 2011 prospect of the year, which is cool and at the same time should be taken with a grain of salt. Then again, we aqcuired him for the 16th overall pick in last year's draft, which at least at the moment seems like a very shrewd move. Rundblad was also named the SEL's top defenceman this season too. All indications are that he will play on the big team full time next season.

For those of you too lazy to click the link, here's what it says:
Pretty high praise for our blue chipper, though I have to admit I wasn't that impressed with him at the World Championship that just ended in Slovakia. Perhaps I'll just chalk it up to a nagging injury or something and continue to sip the kool aid. Hopefully he will be able to live up to the fans very high expectations.

Thoughts?
