GDP #13: Sens @ Boston

The Sens are back at it again tonight, this time in Boston as they take on the defending champs and their Northeast division rival Bruins, looking to extend their win streak to an unbelievable SEVEN games. I definitely did not predict that heading into the season with our talent level, but the heart and passion they have shown has truly been remarkable.

Not much in terms of player movement as one might expect with a big win streak going. Kaspars Daugavins was sent down to Bingo after a stellar 3 game spell that included him getting the game winner against Toronto, which was his first NHL goal an point. Craig Anderson is likely to start after getting the night off on Sunday and you would have to think that Sens killer Tim Thomas will be in goal for the B's.

Here are the Sens at the morning skate at the TD Garden in Boston getting ready for the B's tonight.

Local Flavor: Former Sens Chris Kelly and Zdeno Chara are important guys for the B's and in the offseason they pickup another former Sen in the much made fun of Joe Corvo. They also still have Marc Savard on the roster technically, as well as GM Peter Chiarelli being a Harvard grad and Ottawa native, plus coach Claude Julien is a former Gatineau coach and Benoit Pouliot hails from nearby Alfred, Ontario. Local flavor runs deep with the B's, which is probably why the Stanley Cup spent almost as much time here as it did in Boston in the summer.

Prediction: We've had a lot of trouble the past few years in Boston and they are the champs, even if they aren't playing like it lately. This will be a tough road game but when there's a win streak going on you can't go against them under any circumstances. Sens win 3-2. Rundblad gets his first NHL goal.

Record this season: 9-3 with no exact scores predicted
