Here's the video from the game tonight vs Phoenix where the game tying goal by Alfie was called off after a ridiculously bad call of goaltender interference was called on Nick Foligno. The video says it all. I have no words on how badly they dropped the ball on this.
I agree with stucoutu. A coach should be able to challenge a call, if he's wrong than a delay of game penalty can be assessed, if he's right go with the "new" decision. The last few games, the refereeing has been so bad some changes are needed.
will never happen. the NHL will never open themselves up to even more criticism. all they do is deny and sweep things under the carpet. this would actually shine even more light on how incompetent the officials are. deny , deny, deny.
