Sens Win In OT. Again.

Stop me if you've heard this before. Daniel Alfredsson scores the overtime winner at SBP off a pass from Erik Karlsson. No you're not going crazy, for the second straight home game, the Captain won it for the Sens in OT with the assist going to EK, who extended his lead in defenceman scoring tonight. Other goal scorers were Spezza and Condra. With the win the Sens moved into 6th spot in the eastern conference. It was our third game in a row that went to extra time. All wins.

Other thoughts from the game:
  • the Sens had 32 shots tonight but also had 23 blocked and around 20 more that missed the net.
  • Gonchar sat out last minute. Maybe he's more hurt than first thought.
  • I've been pleasantly surprised with the play of Turris but he needs to score a goal soon.
  • Phillips left in the second and didn't return. That can't be good.
  • Greening hasn't been his old scoring power forward self lately. Is he hurt?
  • Martin Brodeur fell off awhile ago. He should retire.
  • Weird to see a fast paced action packed game between the Sens and Devils.
  • Craig Anderson got an assist tonight, his 4th point of the year. Respect!
  • Tonight was our 3rd W in a row. It's officially a legit win streak.

With the OT winner for the 2nd straight game, Daniel Alfredsson wins the night

Nevermind the Buffalo game between Alfie's 400th and 401st OT winning goals...

Yah, you know. I've been wondering about Greening too but he was on the 1st/2nd line and I think he's on the 3rd now. that's probably it
