MacLean Named Jack Adams Finalist
The game 7 loss on Thursday may be fresh in everyone's minds still, but it has also given us a chance to reflect on what a remarkable season it truly has been. The accolades have been pouring in for the Sens, with Erik Karlsson a finalist for the league's top defenceman and Alfie a finalist for the Masterton, but Paul MacLean wouldn't be outdone and has now been named a finalist for the Jack Adams Award as the league's top coach.
Congratulation to the moustache, who lead us to a surprising playoff appearance in what was supposed to be a rebuilding year. The other finalists are Ken Hitchcock of St Louis and John Tortorella of the New York Rangers. Hitchcock is considered the favorite when the award is given out in Las Vegas in June.
