Richardson In

Richardson being introduced as the new Binghamton Senators head coach taken from live stream of press conference
Luke Richardson has officially been named the head coach of the Binghamton Senators just moments ago. It is a 2 year deal to coach the Sens AHL affiliate after being an assistant for Ottawa the past 3 years. Both Steve Stirling and Matt Meacham will remain as part of the staff.

Hopefully this will help get Richardson's life back on track after the suicide of his daughter a couple of years ago. Perhaps a change of scenery will do him and his family some good and his 20 years of NHL experience is bound to help develop some of the many prospects the Sens have.

I like the hire personally. What do you think?
