It was an odd game, one where the Ottawa Senators outshot the Leafs 50-22, but lost 4-1, allowing Toronto to make the playoffs officially for the first time in 9 years. With the win the Leafs are the last team since the lockout to make the post season. No not this lockout, the one before that.
Beyond that, the Senators didn't play particularly well, but neither did Toronto, but TML did get strong goaltending, where Craig Anderson struggled for once. Normally I'd wanna criticize, but it's hard to give him shit given the season he's had, though the back breaking Kadri goal was embarrassing to let in.
Probably the best news of the night was when HNIC showed Karlsson skating this morning and how good he looked on the ice. He didn't look like he had ever been injured and I'd be shocked at this point if he doesn't suit up before the season ends.
It wasn't our best performance let's just put it that way. The only goal was scored by Jakob Silfverberg and Condra should have scored one to make it 1-0 but other than that, we didn't make it too tough on Reimer to be honest. Let's just forget about this one
